OCTA is seeking participants for four focus group discussions to collect feedback about the 511 service.
Focus group participants will discuss the transit trip-planning component of the 511 service, providing valuable feedback to OCTA. Individuals who use public transportation in Orange County and have tried 511 are encouraged to participate.
511 is a free service that provides live traffic reports, transit planning and commuter service information to Orange County commuters via a toll-free phone number and website. Travelers who call 511 or visit www.Go511.com can check real-time traffic speeds, view traffic alerts, plan a trip on the bus or train, and even find a carpool or vanpool partner.
The focus groups will be conducted by an independent research firm, which also will be responsible for contacting potential participants and scheduling the focus group meetings. Every selected individual who participates will receive $100 as a gesture of appreciation for taking their time and offering feedback.
