OCTA CEO Darrell Johnson recently took part in discussions with State and regional officials about issues affecting Orange County transportation.
During a meeting with California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) Executive Director Nick Maduros hosted by the Self-Help Counties Coalition (SHCC), Johnson received an update on the status of California’s sales and use tax revenue collection as the State emerges from the pandemic.
Johnson also attended the monthly meeting of the Orange County Business Council (OCBC) Board of Directors in his role as the current Chair of OCBC’s OC Moves Steering Committee. OC Moves is dedicated to improving regional transportation infrastructure in Orange County. Johnson provided an update on highlights from the committee’s June meeting where he joined Transportation Corridor Agencies CEO Samuel Johnson and Caltrans District 12 Director Ryan Chamberlain in a discussion on current activities at their respective agencies.
