Beginning Friday, June 28, members of the public will have the opportunity to review a document with new traffic information as part of the ongoing plans for the San Diego Freeway (I-405) Improvement Project.
This Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Report / Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIR/EIS) focuses on new traffic information in the Long Beach area that was not available when the draft document circulated in May 2012.
Through Aug. 12, the new supplemental document will be available online, at Caltrans and at several libraries in the project area for people to review and share their comments.
OCTA and Caltrans also will host a public hearing about the document from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at Hill Classical Middle School in Long Beach. A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and people may stop by at any time to share their comments, view information boards and speak with project representatives.
