Join countywide bicycle enthusiasts and CEO Darrell Johnson for a 3-mile bike ride through Old Town Orange on Thursday, May 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The rally will meet at the Orange Metrolink Station. From there, participants will wind through the historic streets of Orange, through Hart Park, and arrive at OCTA headquarters.
Once rally participants arrive at OCTA Headquarters, riders will hear a short program about OCTA’s regional bikeways planning efforts, and updates on grant funding opportunities. Riders will also receive a sneak peak of the Bike Nation bikes and kiosks that are being provided for OCTA’s new “Bike Link” program.
To Celebrate Bike to Work Week, Metrolink will be offering free train rides to bicyclists who board the train with their bikes.
